How to choose a poker room

Last week I wrote a post about an online poker room, Noble Casino, offering a nearly out of this world sign up bonus. But bonuses shouldn’t really be the only thing that you look out for when you choose a new poker room. I think there are a few more considerations that should weigh into the mix. For example, I’m also attracted to poker rooms that have a lot of traffic around the clock because this means that you’ll still find soft tables with plenty of loose action and also higher stakes if you have a deeper pocket.  William Hill is a perfect example of this. You’ll find a lot more lower limit tables at these sites … the upshot of which is that you can clear your bonus faster. And then of course there is game variety and quality. If you are just looking to play just Texas Hold’em then you won’t have any trouble as all poker rooms would rank this as their most popular sit n goes but some of the other games get a bit harder to come by.  I find that there is considerable difference in game quality between poker rooms so its worthwhile playing with fun money before you go through the registration process. Of course I haven’t even touched on credibility and fair playing which is a whole post in itself but this is possibly the most important factor since you wanna know that you’re going to be paid out when you make your winnings. In a nutshell, do you homework otherwise you might just get burned.
